CEMENTO PANAMA SA

Project: Construction of final mill No. 5, Quebrancha Plant, Colón.

  • Civil Works: Reinforced concrete silo built with 66 m high and 24 m diameter sliding formwork; 20 mx 20 mx 32 m high concrete structure mill building; 2 transfer towers of reinforced concrete structure of 7 mx 8 mx 12 m high and two levels; 5 mx 5.50 m and 30 m reinforced concrete reclaim tunnel; 8 concrete columns and 7 beams to support conveyors built with sliding formwork and post-tensioned beams weighing 38 tons each.
  • Concrete: 3,860 m3; reinforcing steel: 782 tons.
  • Mechanical Work: Mechanical assembly: 610 tons of mechanical equipment consisting of a ball mill; helical conveyors; belt conveyors; motors, dust collectors; dispensers; valves; bucket elevators; bombs.
  • Supply, manufacture and assembly of 192 tons of metallic structure and 85 tons of hoppers, ducts and chutes; 2,280 m of pipes from 1.5 ”to 8” in diameter.
  • Electrical Work: Supply and electrical installation consisting of Lighting Systems; Force; Control; Digital and Analog Instrumentation; Power; Lands and Lightning Struts; Installation, connection and testing of the 2,500 KVA, 13,200 / 4,160 V substation.
